Panthers defeat Broncos .. More scores

The Mehlville Panthers hosted the Bayless Broncos Monday evening in JV & Varsity volleyball action. Although both teams had similar sub-par records the panthers handed the Broncos two straight losses in both levels.

The JV Panthers jumped out in the lead in their first game and wrapped it up with a score of 25-11. The Broncos managed to score two more point than the first game but still loss 25-13.  Outstanding player for the Panthers was Colin Hurt with two aces and five kills.

In the Varsity game the Panthers took the first game 25-12. Although the Varsity Broncos had better team work in the second game the Panthers still won by a score of 25-10. Outstanding Panther was Senior Drew LLiff with 3 aces and eight kills.  The Broncos Senior David Loseille really impressed me with a hard working game.

Broncos head coach woody Babb says “that it was a hard but understandable loss. This is a fairly new team and we have to make some adjustments.”
